Tomato Plant Symptom (bronzed leaf and then die)

Tomato    Penn State University- State College, PA

One of my research tomato plants in the greenhouse is showing a weird symptom that I am not sure of what it is. The leaves are getting bronzed before they dry out and die (see attached photos). The flowering and fruit is not affected and it does not seem like it is spreading to other plants neighboring it. There is no spider mite web or spider mite spotted either.
Anyone has an idea of what it might be?

Maggie, it's probably a good idea to take a sample to the diagnostic clinic to see what's going on under the scope

Thank you Kelsee, I am waiting for our campus plant clinic to open next week and I just wanted to see if anyone here has an idea while I am waiting :)

I suspect it is russet mite damage. Use the hand lens to spot whitish- yellow and pear shaped mites.

This is just a guess, but this has some of the look of tomato spotted wilt virus, spread by thrips.
