Lemon    Somalia

Hi, again I am facing a serious problem in my citrus trees, recently I have seen these insects which I couldn't know their importance. on the other hand the Insects are always on the reproductive parts(flowers) of the trees. so that what are these insects and ways to prevent and fight them. I am in Somalia.

based on feedback from the Department of Entomology Penn State University we think this is Leucocelis simillima which is flower beetle
These come to flower to get nectar. They will pollinate the flowers as they move around which is good. There are some species that attack fruit so check the fruit when it comes.
But this does not look like a problem for your lemon tree

Thank you David Hughes, definitely they(insects) are very similar in terms of physical structure. meanwhile I am not in Mexico city but I am in Hargeisa, the second capital of Somalia, though I am not expert for IT but I think that some of my computer programs like Kaspersky is registered in other places for example when I switch on my computer immediately I see small letter on the screen saying (your secure connection was established via Mexico)
