Your crop seems to have been affected by a viral disease........Rogue off the diseased ones

Hello Kilifi, How's Kenya today. Firstly, did you carry out soil testing on the soil to know the available and deficient nutrients in the soil before planting at all? Doing this will serve as a guide to adopt the GAP- good agronomic practices of any crop to plant. Secondly, are you certain the yellowing was not as result of other nearby farms activities? Thirdly, applying fertilizer to cowpea will only make it to grow more vegetatively rather than pod production. Lastly for now, make use of 'the other crops' aspect of the app on NURU segment, the same way we use it on cassava. Best of luck

It could be Sulphur deficiency because the yellowing is shown on younger leaves starting from the tip towards the mid rib. 1. Apply organic manure to increase sulphur availability. 2. Avoid burning of organic waste. 3. Apply single super phosphate to reduce the deficiency.
