The water soaked spots are fine and firm so it can't be bacterial soft rot disease. I think it could be due to excess moisture. Aloe vera is a succulent plant and require watering once in a while, since the plant stores water in the leaves. So water the plants only when the top 2 or 3 inches of soil is dry. Also, provide proper drainage to the soil. Meanwhile, Keep a close eye on these spots and keep us updated.

Once a week. But we had heavy rains during February. I did take them out of the rain after a while and left them to dry for a few weeks. Do you think that it is the cause. about 7 years ago.
