Red dots on my oregano plants

Oregano    Riverside, California

My oregano plant has tiny red dots, possibly eggs on it. Can the plant be saved if these are red spider mites?

From my experiance it would be much better to attache photos to make sure. If they were spider mits then the neem oil soap mix is a good thing to do

It is quite difficult to make out from the image, some close ups of those lesions and spots would be great. I suspect that this is rust, caused by a fungus and the raised areas are the rust pustules where the spores are produced. If the infection is mild, you could try pruning off the affected leaves. If many/most leaves are infected then it may be best to get rid of the plant and start again. Please do post some more images (whole plant and close ups of those lesions.

i was gonna say the same thing lindsy said, images are very pure quality because the plant diseases are very similer to eachother and only by good quality images can the pros tell the difference
