Will the use of water with harmful bacteria affect the growth of coriander?

Coriander (Cilantro)    None Given

If, instead of fresh water, sewage water is used for irrigation, which contains some bacteria like E. coli, then will it affect the growth of coriander?

According to research there is no direct effect of E.coli on plant growth. Though E.coli may survive in root zone (or some plants may uptake bacteria and store in above ground part) and contaminate the produce. Also sewage water may contain toxic metals which can effect plant growth directly.
