Thanks Kellie. I don't know how I would do that where I have hectares of land that is under siege from bacterial wilt. I must reclaim it by other means to get it back for seed potato production. Cheer gure

Gure,
you can find a review of brown rot /bacterial wilt (Ralstonia solanacearum) control measures in the article
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...
Algicide (3-[3-indolyl] butanoic acid), fumigants (metam sodium, 1,3-dichloropropene, and chloropicrin), and plant activators generating systemic resistance on host plant (validamycin A and validoxylamine) have been used to control brown rot/ bacterial wilt. But biocontrol (antagonistic bacteria) is probably the best in long-term plant protection.

Alex

Gure, the first step - identification of the pathogen source. Seeds, water, soil... all control measures will depend on this.

Alex, great idea. I have identified all possible pathogen source as you stated here. And the papers I have read through and am happy. I should get into working on the land. Cheers.
