Blossom fall

Guava    None Given

My friend has a guava tree that has a lot of buds and flowers, but the flowers would dry out, go brown and fall off. I believe it's over watered but there must be another reason.
Mind you, no pests and it's green and healthy, outdoors, full sun and warm weather (no frost area).
Thanks

Is this a guava tree that is supposed to produce the tropical fruit (guava)? Or is this a feijoa (pineapple guava)? Is there more than 1 tree?

There can me multiple reasons for this. The chief pollinator of Guava is the honeybee and perhaps flowers were not visited. It seems as if it is not setting seed which could be a pollinator problem
