Grape Leaf Dark Staining

Grape    None Given

Hi

I'm very new to grape vines and have always wanted to grow my own. I now have 5 young vines growing in the south of France and most of them have developed the kind of staining on the leaves shown in the picture . They are young and have not yet started to produce fruit but are actively growing.

They are all in very large pots with plenty of room for root growth

I was hoping that someone can identify the staining , explain what it is and what to do about it ?

Best Regards

Mike

I have read that this staining may be due to a lack of Potassium in the soil. Plants needs potassium to assists in up taking of water and photosynthesis. But, Im no expert..

Could be the soil is staying too wet.
I would suggest an anti fungal.
Milk and chamomile tea are some organic things you could use.
1part milk to 5 parts water spray leaves until droplets form.
I would remove infected leaves and bag them up and trash them. Try not to touch healthy leaves to spread infection. I also recommend doing any spraying early in the morning.
