Yellowing leaves

Starfruit (Carambola)    None Given

The leaves are yellowing in a weird way, it looks like a deficiency to me but I'm not sure! No pests, no eggs, the plant is in a container, outdoor with partial shade, regular watered.

It look like magnesium deficiency (though I am not sure). In general starfruit trees need frequent nutrients supply as they are heavy feeders.

See the attached screen shot showing recommended fertilizer dose to grow starfruit trees.
