Depending on where you live, cacao is very resilient and requires very little chemical input. I wouldn't recommend calendar sprays for your cacao plants until there are serious disease or pest concerns. I have many growers who practice cultural controls (pruning, sanitation, proper fertilizers, etc.) and are "organic" only because they require no other inputs.
