Dry leaves

General    None Given

The leaves are drying on our pepper plants. We have bell peppers and jalapeños and pepperoncinis. Could I not be watering them enough?

Where are you? Sometimes the heat is so intense in midday or the afternoon that the leaves wilt, and then they can't recover even if you water them later in the evening. I've found some peppers like some afternoon shade. You could try propping some row cover over them (so that it's not touching the leaves) or putting some other barrier to afternoon sun, then see if the leaves are still drying in the evening. Or water in the morning, if you can.

Are they in containers or in the ground? If they're in the ground, daily watering shouldn't be needed, and in fact may be stressing the plants. Do you check the soil before adding water? Peppers like hot roots, but in midsummer, the pots may be getting too hot. I double-pot (leaving a 1-inch airspace between pots, or filling that space with mulch) to protect the roots.

My peppers are mulched, and I water once every 5-10 days or so.

It is possible of course. What is the soil like? Is it dry?

well, seems like things are going well. Perhaps take some images of the leaves and we can help further

Agree; can you take photos of the plants/leaves? Many diseases can cause yellowing, browning, or death of leaves.
