Squash only producing male flowers

Squash    None Given

My squash plant seems to have only male flowers !! is that possible? I kept looking for an ovarian kind of flower bottom but they all seemed skinny and straight ? should i discard the plant?

How long has it been since the plant started flowering? It does often happen that squash only produces one type of flower. Flower sex is directly related to the age of the plant, temperature and day length. I wouldn't give up just yet, I'm sure those female flowers will start appearing soon!
