Best time to plant broccoli fall harvest

When is the best time to plant broccoli? I was thinking about starting seeds indoors now or soon to transplant but I'm not sure when is best to plant them out in the garden. I'm in PA.

For Fall broccoli you want to plant 85-100 days before your first frost, which would be ASAP for you in Pennsylvania. If you locate them in an area that won't be as susceptible to frost they can actually last much longer. Even if you start transplants inside, you want to do it now.
