I lived here in Philippines, we have a tropical climate, it's summer here and humid. Too much sun u think? I have place a garden net over my garden to filter the sunlight.

It has been in the pot for 4 mos. It was in bad shape almost no leaves no flowers when I got the plant I thought it will die. Used slow release fertilizer once a month.

Make sure you didn't plant it too deeply. Check that the root flare (sort of like where your neck flares out to your shoulders is slightly above the soil level. Planted too deeply will cause the plant to slowly decline and die.

It might that the plant is root bound. Transplant to a large pot and see if the roots are tightly packed into the side of the pot. It is also possible that it has been over fertilized. When you transfer it just use new soil and do not add additional fertilizer

Look at the stem as it goes it the pot - it seems quite wet and it goes straight in....make sure you did not plant it too deeply. That will cause the plant to slowly decline. The root flare should be slightly above the soil level. And it blooms on new wood so make sure you prune it.

The jasmine plant is affected by red spider mites , as the mites suck sap from the leaves the leaves are deformed. Control spray imidachloropid @ . 3ml/litre of water . If there only few plants than dust the undersurface of the plant with burnt ash it will give control and your plants will be healthy.
