Pruning plants

is it ok to prune a good amount of the plant ? I do get very good growth on plants as the leaves grow massivley so i do prune them for better air circulation and less disease to the plant, not sure if its ok i mean how far can i prune

This really depends on what type of plant you are talking about. Some can withstand heavy pruning, others can be a bit more sensitive.
