Avocado tree about 6 years old

Avocado    sebastian,florida

Recently large branches on my tree are withering then turning totally brown. The rest of the tree looks great. Can you tell me what might be wrong with it? thank you

Please provide some images. Also, can you describe what you see on the branches, and insects? And outgrowths on the bark?

When did the problem start? Have their been drought conditions? Do you water, add fertilizer?

started about two months ago, no drought, fertilized not too long ago. yard man was here yesterday and he told me I am going to lose the whole tree eventually, hes coming in the morning to cut a big part of it off. It just makes me sick, I love my trees
