Red leaves

Apple    None Given

I have young Apple leaves just coming out. They have a reddish tint to it. Is this normal, or is it possibly a phosphate deficiency?

It looks like phosphorus deficiency. The accumulation of anthocyanin pigment in phosphorus deficit plant make leaves appear red or purple color. Also this problem is quite common in cool soils in early spring. So apply bone meal or animal manure to over come P deficiency.
