Browning of leaf tips may occur due to various reasons.

1. Accumulation of excess salt near root tip due poor drainage in the pot.
2. Severe fluctuation in water like too little or excess.
3. Also it may be due to magnesium deficiency.

In first and second case it is commonly called as tipburn.
It is very difficult to diagnose the problem with out images. Please upload some photos.
