Leaf curling and turning brown on edges

Squash    None Given

The primary leaf of my squash plant is turning brown and curling on the edges. What is the reason and how to control it.

Hi Laurie - can you please clarify what exactly your question is? Also, please upload a picture of the plant, otherwise it will be close to impossible to help.

Now I did start the seeds in peat moss. This is something I don't usually do. I have used peat pellets before but most I us potting soil.

Did you apply foliar fertilizer? Alternatively, please check if aphids/or other insect(s) are on the inside of the curling leaf.

I would guess its an issue with having "wet feet" and not enough air circulation.
also the medium you used could have a virus in it.
i would also recommend using distilled water.
snip off the grey edges with scissors and repot with different medium keep out of harsh lights for a couple of days until it looks like its ready to get going again.
hope this helps.
