Nutrients required for coconut

Coconut    None Given

I'd like to know about the requirement of micronutrients for application to 4 years old plantation - the plants are not in bearing, they will be bearing fruit next year.

It is always advisable to go for soil testing before applying micronutrients. Recommended micronutrients for coconut are borax (50g/tree/year), gypsum (1 kg/tree/year) and magnesium sulphate (500 g/tree/year). Also you can grow sunnhemp as intercrop twice a year (Seed rate 30 kg/ha).
