Brown leaves on my Avocado Tree
Avocado
Orlando, Fl.
The tree has produced for over 3 years, we had about 40 avocados past year. Now the leaves are brown and the bottom has new sprouts and some green leaves. We are in Central Fl.(Orlando) and we only had a few cold nights (38-42). We usually don't go much under 55 degree. What can we do? We get a lot of rain and we have a sprinkler system that waters it 2X a week(Water restrictions)

Can't take image, my husband just cut it down. He said even the bark of tree was dry like wood. We think our banana tree took away all it's moisture, It is always full of water. He left the bottom of the Avocado tree where we had some new green sprouts, and we will buy another Avocado tree. We cut down the banana tree and pulled it out, since it did not produce last year and is too much work, cutting it down every year or two. We live in Orlando, Fl., so any advise on the caring of the Avocado tree, will be much appreciated. about 7 years ago.
