I'm from center Italy and I have a 3 years old lemon plant from seed.
Probably it is a clone of the plant's mother because I used nuclear seeds.
Anyway I tried to graft it.
I grafted 6 buds.
Today, after 20 days only one bud has gone bad but the other 5 buds are still green.
The bad one is the first bud grafted at the base at the plabty, so is it possible that the upper buds will dry soon?
I know that if the buds are still green after 21 days, it means that the grafting is successful.
Anyway, what I have to do with the bad one?
Do I need to leave the bud and brush on some wax or similar?
