Longevity Spinach seeds

Spinach    None Given

Hi , I received longevity spinach seeds to plant but they look bit different from regular seeds !!! They were more like hairy furry dry flowers and it had long hairy buds !! are these seeds ??

How are these seeds sowed ???

Longevity spinach, Gynura procumbens is an edible plant generally used for culinary and medicinal purpose. The perennial vein require well drained soil and partial shade. It is quite common in Africa, Southeast Asia and China.

Hi Ravi, thanks for the info. Yes for that reason only I am growing this plant. But I don't know how to sow them and how to start them in soil ?? So please help.

Generally longevity spinach is propagated by stem cuttings because the seeds are less viable. But you can try sowing them in containers or garden bed. Normally it is better to follow shallow sowing for this kind of seeds to encourage quick germination.
