How do you know you have ringspot virus? Can you post a picture of the symptoms. Can you describe the symptoms?

There is no cure for ringspot. The solution is rouging (removing infected plants) and planting resistant cultivars and reducing the presence of vectors.

Infected plants should be removed and destroyed to prevent spread of the virus; new planting materials should be free of the virus; intercropping papaya with a non-host such as corn can help to reduce the incidence of the disease in papaya orchards by providing aphid vectors with an alternative feeding site

see pictures here https://www.plantvillage.com/en/topic...

You say you found no vectors. Papaya ringspot is a Potyvirus that is transmitted by aphids. It is transmitted in a non-persistent manner, meaning that the virus does not multiply within the aphid but is instead carried on its mouthparts and is transmitted from plant to plant while feeding.

I don't know if some people will hate this idea, but you could also try planting seeds from store-bought Hawaiian papayas. They should be resistant, because they've got a small bit of viral DNA that interferes with the wild virus.
