New type of okra disease

Okra    Ghana

This is a new type of okra disease I am seeing for the first time. Can you please help me identify it and to get a remedy? The stem twists when it is about to flower.

Hi Geoffrey,
Since we are not seeing any symptoms on leaves except twisted stem it may not be viral disease. I am suspecting it may be physiological disorder or may be due to high nitrogen application. If you provide more information like what type of seed (variety)? where you buy it? Is whole field is infected? Recent agronomic practice you carried out like fertilization, Irrigation etc. and also weather condition (too hot or cold during flowering may have impact on flower survival) may help us in giving you more information.
