Fig not growing

Fig    None Given

My marcott fig plant is not growing. Now leaves are turning yellow, then brown. Plant has four leaves only for many months. Now two of the leaves are turning yellow. Is it because of some caffeine I added to the soil? But anyway I did change the soil. What 'a happening?
Sometimes ago I wrote about my papaya plant, leaves still yellow, fruits still falling off so sad, can someone help? Check plant, no caterpillars or insects.

How old is the plant? Did you apply any fertilizer? The pot and soil you provided looks small which might have resulted in nutrient deficiency. As the plants grow, resulting in dense rooting (see attached image) may clog the drain hole, so it requires new bigger pots. Also avoid over or under watering of fig plants.

Regarding your earlier question on papaya (https://plantvillage.org/posts/7092-p...), if it is a viral disease, there is no other way, you have to remove the plant and destroy it. Still, we recommend you contact the local experts and get it diagnosed.

Put it in the ground in a sunny spot, or a 5 gallon pot in the sun, if no land.
