Defect in the crown

Hello,
I just grew my first almond tree. Its about 2 months old and about 25 cm tall. It developed a little funny thing in the crown. A little ball with "tentacles". What could It be? And should i cut It off? I have It indoors and i have no other defected plants at home.
Greatful for any kind of pointers!
