Cucumber spots in aeroponic

Cucumber    Pennsylvania

Hey Thank you for taking my question.

I'm growing in an aeroponic tower garden indoors and my cucumber (spacemaster) is curling and browning at the edges - otherwise healthy and flowering! And my other cucumber (marketmore) has these crazy spots. Photo attached. What is this and what do I do? PH is 6 (recommended for Tower garden) and plants get watered 15 on 15 off. 15 hours of grow lights per day. Other plants are healthy!

Thanks

Hello Nicole,
Many microorganisms, as bacteria and fungi, are causing spots on cucumber leaves. The type of spots on your plant are characteristics of bacteria infection. Trim the infected leaves and clean all your gardening tools. For your next planting, use certified resistant seeds, and clean with a disinfectant your tower garden before planting.

Thank you for your reply! Is there a way to disinfect the tower garden while there are plants in it? I have cut off the infected leaves, but I'm afraid it's going to spread. Is it already in all of the water? I hope all of my plants are not gonners!

Hello Nicole,
No, you can't disinfect the tower garden with your plants in it. Wash the tower with diluted bleach after harvesting the cucumbers.
