Rice Husk Ash as Mulch

Can use rice husk ashes as mulch around coconut and Mango plants. will this enhance growth in coconut and Mango and can it help control weeds around the plants.

The rice husk ashes will help to protect your plant against different pests and help the soil. But for mulching regular rice husks will be better.
