Paul Wagstaff commented,
Feedback from our field team in Zambia:
Below are the noted challenges experienced during the testing of the App.
(1)When we open the home page it displays a message saying (News is not available in your area)
(2)When we open the new report form there is a part which requires one to select the type of locust present in the area through the displayed lmages of locust. Selection is failing making it difficult to go to the next level.

These are the noted concerns on the app sir.
Regards
Shangombo team.

Hi Paul,

What exactly is your team seeing during selection?

You should be able to simply select the locusts then click close, and carry on with the survey. Are you seeing an error? Is it crashing?

A screenshot or a video would be great, if you can acquire one.

Dear Paul,
Zambia users should now see updates concerning desert locust on their Home page. They can also find instructions on identifying desert locust.
Thank you

Paul Wagstaff commented,
Many thanks for the update to the app.

Zambia is facing an outbreak of African Migratory Locusts, Locusta migratoria migratorioides, not the Desert Locust, Schistocerca gregaria.

SADC has launched a regional appeal to combat the locusts. Can eLocust be made more accessible for SADC countries?
