the cause of white scale

mango white scale on upper leaves and down leaves . the problem was started before 1 year ago. I have not used any control systems. it may be all leaves will be dry . After a while the plant maybe dry and useless. please give me an advices on time what I can do.

generally a very good way to control insects that suck from the plants is to spray with a soapy water solution. this is because the insects have a waxy cuticle and the spray of soapy water can break that down and kill them. many of these sap sucking insects are living in a close association with ants. the ants provide protection to them and in return receive sugary secretions from the sap sucking insects

yes it is right, the insect stick the egg on both lower and upper leaves . it has strong binding material. The difficulty is it invade the whole leaves.

it is insect recent threat of mango production in Ethiopia. it was advised that both cultural and chemical method are used to manege. The cultural method used to control is pruning to reduce population. systemic chemical such as Spare 250 WG, Acephate , Imidacloprid and Dinotefuran. before accessing or using chemicals better to have advise from experts
