Bean    None Given

My yellow bush beans died and when I pulled them out I found this on the roots. Do you know what it is? And what can I do about it.i have pole beans in the same place, are they dying too or can I save them? Is the rest of my garden safe?

Susan,
your beans had good nodules formed by Rhizobium bacteria and fixing nitrogen from air. It improves fertility of soil in your garden. Probably, your yellow bush beans were damaged by other bacteria or fungi, and it is better to plant at this place other crops, not beans.
