Mango tree from Cuba to Curacao

Mango    None Given

Hello,

I got a Cuban mango tree whose leaves are crumpled and dry and the whole tree is lifeless. I wonder what I need to do make it healthy and let it grow.

Thank you,

Arthur

Based on your picture, it looks like your tree may not be getting enough water. Did you recently get this tree or replant it? I ask because newly planted trees need to be watered more deeply and more often to help them establish a good root system. Thorough and deep watering may bring your tree back to a livelier state!

Here's some info that may be helpful, which discusses watering methods and protocol for establishing new trees: aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/fruit-nut/fact-sheets/mango/

Hallo, the tree gets washing machine water, dish water and regular water. So it gets loads of water. It is 35 C these days here so the soil cracks. How can I send more pictures?

Thanks for posting more photos. Some of the damage looks like it could be attributed to insect pests that have eaten some of the leaves (a chewing insect, like a beetle), but I'm not sure if that is the primary issue because the leaves and browned and yellowed. The link I shared before states that mango trees are sensitive to salts, and needs soil that drains well. Is it possible that those issues may also be affecting the plant?

Hii Arthur, The young plant looks very weak and pale. It need food in the form of NPK. Feed liqiud fertilizer for instant impact. Regarding insects use 2 liters water +10gms chilli, ginger, garlic with one table spoon of neam or caster oil if u r goin organic will take care of any type of insects. Cheers Presath
