Brown or burned tips on the leaves of mulberry fruit tree

General    los Angeles country

I have this young pakistan mulberry fruit tree which was planted in the ground with 2 new bags of potting soil about three months ago. Recently has this developed brown or burned tips on the leaves and is getting worse, it has been watered twice a week and is planted in zone 10A where average temperature is 65 L -90 F High in mid day. Any suggestion would help? Is it some diseases or sunburn?

There are a number of things that may cause the leaves to have this scorched appearance. In addition to drought (which doesn't seem likely given you are watering regularly), excessive salt can build up due to the presence of salt in irrigation water - what is the water like where you are? Other potential causes are nutrient deficiency - possibly potassium or magnesium. Are you feeding the tree?

Michael Yeung commented,
Thank you for the comment.
Not sure what is salt level in the water for inland area of Los angeles country, because I haven't done any testing yet. But my other plants seems to be fine.
- Feeding- No - I haven't do any feeding since brought it 4 months ago, but I do used two bags 2 Cft potting soil when planting it in the ground that suppose will come with some sorts of nutrients . Will try to add some liquid feeding soon.
I am not sure if mulberry are sensitive ?
