Compost tea is a home made all organic liquid fertilizer. I think every gardener who does it has their own recipe, but it usually involves a black 55 gallon drum in a sunny location and a mesh bag or bucket. Fill the drum with water and the bag/bucket with the organic matter of your choice, tie a rope around it and lower it into the drum so that the top is barely covered by water. Now cover the barrel with something that isn't airtight but keeps the rain out and let it sit for a week or so and you have some great fertilizer for your garden.
