Plant roots visible at top of pot

I sometimes see the roots of some of my plants at the top of the pot of soil, I always bury the seeds as instructed on the packet and I always add more soil when this happens. Is this ok?

Yes, seeing the roots is OK and covering it as you do with soil is good
