White bumps on base of cucumber plant

Not sure if this is something I should be worried about!.. first time growing cucumbers

It looks like secondary roots ready to grow. You can add some compost to cover them.

Yes I agree with Alex, they are likely root buds and completely harmless. If its been very wet/humid, the plant gets tricked into thinking its in soil and wants to put roots out.

Agree with Alex, the white bumps on your cucumber stem are adventitious roots. Generally cucurbits produces adventitious roots at above-ground nodes. For more information
