Can anyone help identifying the following insect? Think i'am mistaken it for a beetle. http://tinyurl.com/p9n2xax

It looks like a weevil. A beetle in the family Curculionidae. They are herbivores and the young (larvae) can consume seeds of bean plants, and other plants.

Have you seen many?

I get that. But given its long beak like mouth-modification, it's very peculiar to the kind. Would't you say?
As for the pest density, there were very few of them.

Try flicking them with your hands into a container of soapy water.
