What is this small plant growing in pot plant?

General    None Given

I have come home after 2 weeks to discover an unknown plant that was in with my spider plant has now developed a small "berry". I knew the small plant was there but did not know what it is or how it got there. I hope the photo is good enough for you to help me identify this and give advice as I really don't want to weed it out.

This is not elder. Do not eat it! I can't tell from the picture but it might be a member of the nightshade family and extremely toxic.

No, it does not look like elderberry. Elder grows in clusters and has compound leaves.

If you can get a clearer photo of the leaves and stems, perhaps someone will be able to ID what you have.
