Yellow leaves on globe zucchini plant

General

Hi! my globe zucchini's (here we call it 'zapallito'), lower leaves are super yellow, I don't know if it's normal and they have to fall or there is something bad with the plant! I'll appreciate if you can tell me what is wrong (or not) with my plant and if there is anything I can do to help it. Thank you!

I'm gonna let you a link so you can see what the plant actually is: http://maby.snarvaez.com.ar/salud/fil...

Don't worry. What you see is normal. The yellow leaves are called cotyledons, which emerge from the seed as the first leaves. http://bit.ly/1dSJ5Wz The cotyledons make food for the young plant until it begins making true leaves; then they wither and die.

If you start seeing some of the lower leaves also start to yellow, that would indicate the plant needs some fertilizer. Right now the rest of the leaves look fine.
