Ants on squash and beans

General    None Given

I see ants on the flowers of my squash plants and my purple beans. Usually it's because of aphids or some disease but when I looked they are perfectly healthy plants and flowers so can that be just part of nature? Just for the info it's in my greenhouse and I have no diseases in any plants at all

They are going up the tree for some reason. Likely sugar produced by aphids

Could they be feeding on the pollen David?

some ants are known to collect seeds, but ants are not suspected to collect pollen. They tend to get their protein from dead insects they collect

I have seen some ants on squash blossoms using nectar, so they may just be doing the same on your plants. However they are probably not pollinating the flowers very effectively.

I guess David was right! I found Aphids but very few like 4 only literally but the amount of ants is way more than the aphids ... But I snapped off the damaged leaves

Kerry Mauck commented,
Glad you found them. In the future, you can just squish the aphids or treat the plant with some dilute soapy water. Aphids don't do a lot of damage to the tissues so it saves you from removing parts of the plant that are still helping it to photosynthesize. Keep inspecting and squishing for a few days, as aphid nymphs (newborns) that are very small may have been produced before you took care of the adults.
