I planted Okra seeds. About 50 percent germinated. Of the seeds that germinated, many were dissected into two parts. I don't know the reason. We have snails in our garden. Could it be the work of snails/slugs? How can the problem be solved? Is there any treatment for this?

I wonder what might this disorder be?

Apple    Nepal

I suspect it is a physiological disorder: browning, manifestation of disease, defies usual pattern-less form, in this case being concentric browning of pith. The fruit did not show any external symptoms although the the cutting lead to strikingly foul odor.
